The Mona Lisa is a half-length portrait of a woman by an Italian artist called Leonardo de Vinci. The Mona Lisa is the most known and visited piece of art in the world. The painting is thought to be a portrait of Lisa Gherardini. The Mona Lisa is believed to have been painted between 1503-1506. The Mona Lisa is currently on display in The Louvre museum in Paris,France.
